Ms. Sophia Baird

The Young Hero winner for December is Sophia Baird. She is the co-founder of The Good Shepherds Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that focuses on helping young leaders of the community fulfill their goals by providing support, education, and a volunteer base.

Sophie spends about 10 hours a week working on The Good Shepherds Foundation with the newsletter, social media, project management, and team meetings. 

Currently a lot of time is spent preparing for their Thanksgiving Basket Brigade, which provides approximately 300 baskets of food to families in need.
