Deposit by Mobile Phone

Businesses with fewer than 50 check deposits per month can benefit from the Mobile Check Deposit feature of our free mobile banking tool.  Simply snap pictures of the check, choose your account, enter the amount, and send.

Businesses with larger check volumes can make deposits through a small desktop scanner connected to a computer. Security is ensured through the latest encryption technology.

Sweep Accounts

A sweep account is a bank account that automatically transfers amounts that exceed a certain level into a higher interest-earning account option at the close of each business day.

Using a sweep vehicle like a sweep fund works by providing the customer with the greatest amount of interest with the minimum amount of personal intervention by transferring money at the end of the day into a high-interest account.

Sweep accounts provide a way to ensure money is not sitting idly in a low-interest account when it could be earning higher interest rates in better liquid cash interest earning vehicles.

Zero Balance Accounts

A zero balance account (ZBA) is exactly what it sounds like: a checking account in which a balance of $0 is maintained. When funds are needed in the ZBA, the exact amount of money required is automatically transferred from a central or master account. Similarly, deposits in these accounts are swept into a master account daily.

Corporations sometimes use zero balance accounts to ensure funds are readily available throughout different departments, to eliminate excess balances in separate accounts, and to maintain greater control over the disbursement of funds. These accounts often handle items such as payroll, petty cash, and other similar needs

An ACH filter is a service that protects your account from unauthorized ACH transactions by only allowing certain ACH transactions to post to your account:

  • Screens incoming ACH transactions to identify unauthorized debit transactions
  • Reduces the risk of fraud, protects your funds, and monitors your account for fraudulent activity
  • Allows you to set up an approved company list, block and return unauthorized debits, and customize filter settings

Positive pay is an automated cash-management service to deter check fraud. Banks use positive pay to match checks issued by companies with those it presents for payment. Checks that are considered suspicious are sent back to the issuer for examination.

The system acts as a form of insurance against fraud, losses, and other liabilities to the bank.
 

Reverse positive pay is when clients compare presented checks against what they have issued. Instead of you reporting to us the checks you issue, we report to you the checks that are presented for payment as exceptions for you to review and then tell us to pay or return.

Primary Bank's Lockbox Service offers you state-of-the-art processing and image-based technology that will streamline posting your receivables.  We collect and process your customer payments for you, quickly and efficiently, which will improve your overall cash flow.

Lockbox Service routes your customers' payments directly to our Manchester, NH post office box.  The payments are collected, verified, and deposited to your account - all in the same day.  You'll also receive same day remittance details and deposit reporting giving you greater insights and better utilization of available funds.
